So you may be here wondering "why"?

As an Asian American founder, when I was growing up, I often found myself at odds with my own background and identity.

However, I've come to feel that at the end of the day, we really can't control who we're attracted to. Love knows no bounds and we're not really trying to change anyone's preferences. But I think everyone, regardless of their ethnicity should be able to feel appreciated, find love and not be reprimanded for their personal preferences.

There's still a lot of bigotry out there and Color Dating is just one small effort in trying to make the world a slightly better place. We hope that by facilitating conversations between different people of different backgrounds, we can help all people find love and appreciation.
